That’s strange, I thought EL Al stands for: “Every Landing Always Late”
I didn’t know EL AL was so bad. Still, it can’t be compared to the now-defunct Tower Airlines, which, from what I hear, ALWAYS seemed to find a reason to make unscheduled stops in Bangor, Maine. I was once stuck in a Tower airplane in Bangor Maine for several hours, because they couldn’t take off again in the rain. They wouldn’t let anyone leave. It was horrible.
