At approximately 9:00PM a person was fatally shot in the quiet neighborhood of Flatbush. The shooting occurred at Avenue R and East 29th Street. NYPD responded in full force closing off many blocks in the area while attempting to apprehend the perpetrator. A NYPD helicopter was seen flying very low with bright search lights searching all of the back-yards and rooftops. As of this time they have not made any arrests.
