Machpelah House Residents Hold Seder in Protest Tent

The residents of the Machpelah House who were evicted last week held Seder outside the building in their protest enclave. The approximately 40 people sent a clear message to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and his coalition, that they are not about to walk away from the home which they insist is legally theirs, purchased by the Hebron Jewish community in compliance with the law.

The residents were evicted but remain committed to the community’s new acquisition and they are not abandoning the site, calling on the prime minister to expedite the process of validating the papers attesting to the transaction.

According to reports from Hebron, the Seder passed without incident.

Tens of thousands of Yidden are expected to make their way to Hebron during chol hamoed, when the Ulam Yitzchak is also open to mispallalim.
