The Monticello Shul was burglarized on Friday night, and a Sefer Torah was unfortunately stolen.�
YWN spoke with Rabbi Benzion Chanowitz, who is the Rov of the Landfield Avenue Shul, who says the burglary happened some time Friday night after he left the Shul.�
The Sefer Torah has a “blue mantel” on it.�
The Monticello Police Department and the NY State Police are investigating.�
