Yeshivas Moving Out of Rocket Striking Area

yeshiva.jpgThree yeshivos from Ashdod and Netivot relocated to Bnei Brak on Tuesday. Some 160 talmidim have moved into Yeshiva Kisei Rachamim of Rav Mazuz Shlita, who is doing his utmost to make space for the bochrim.

One dinning room was converted into a room for mattresses and talmidim are taking additional bochrim into their rooms, adding mattresses to the floor.

HaGaon Rav Yissachar Meyer Shlita of Netivot is reportedly looking for an alternative location for his yeshiva in Yerushalayim.

The soup kitchen at 53 Rabbi Akiva Street in Bnei Brak is working around the clock to feed the many people who have fled southern rocket-stricken areas.

Bnei Brak’s Vishnitz community has also opened its doors, taking in many families.

Maran Rav Chaim Kanievsky was asked if people are compelled to leave the south due to the danger. The Rav responded that one must do as one sees fit but those who are not in the south should not travel to the danger zone.

“AS ONE SEES FIT”-in other words time to use your own sechel, if you see fit, then YES. If you feel that staying is what is correct, then YES stay.

  2. “The Rav responded that one must do as one sees fit…”

As always, it depends on your level of EmuNa in HashGaCha PraTis.

    Asay Lecha Rav.

If you have a question, Ask YOUR RAV.
Doing as you see fit is for those who are too scared, traumatized, or otherwise unable to contact their own Rav.
