A deep freeze is coming to the Tri-State area starting Thursday and continuing into the weekend.

After a partly mild day Wednesday, which included some flurries, Thursday brings very bitter Arctic air — the coldest of the season.

ABC7 Meteorologist Bill Evans said Thursday’s cold temperatures are nothing compared to what’s coming over the weekend. Wind chills of 10 to 25 degrees below zero are possible late Saturday and Sunday.
