Senior, Hezbollah arch-terrorist Imad Mugniyah – wanted on the top of US and European lists – was killed in a blast in Damascus on Tuesday. Naturally, Hezbollah quickly blamed the Israelis for his death.
Prime Minister Ehud Olmert’s office denied the accusations, saying that “Israel rejects the attempt by terrorist groups to attribute any involvement (to Israel) in this incident.”
Some of terror incidents he was responsible for include:
1985 hijacking of a TWA airliner in which a US Navy diver was killed and the abduction of westerners in the 1980s.
Bombing at the American embassy in Beirut and the attack against the US Marines’ headquarters in Lebanon in 1983, which killed over 200 Americans.
1992 bombing of Israel’s embassy in Argentina in which 29 people were killed and the blast at a Buenos Aires Jewish center two years later that killed 95.
Numerous terror attacks on Israel’s border with Lebanon, including the kidnapping of Israeli soldiers Benny Avraham, Adi Avitan and Omar Souad, and apparently also the abduction of Eldad Regev and Ehud Goldwasser.

For the record the extra O in the first one is really a transliteration into French which is still spoken in Lebanon and even Syria).
