He was reportedly rushed by Hatzolah to Maimonides hospital on Motzei Shabbos where doctors did the surgery.

He should have a refuah shalamah. Is it my imagination, or has the rate of serious illness and losses among the few remaining gadolei hador accelerated over the past year or so. Its like every week we read here of another great tzadkik who was niftar or was rushed to the hospital. I don’t want to read too much into it, but I’m clearly perplexed at what the Ebeshter is telling us.
