HATE: Swastikas Found at Aviator Sports Center in Brooklyn

A hate crime is being investigated in Brooklyn on Tuesday night.

Swastikas were found scrawled on the walls of a locker-room at the Aviator Sports and Events Center, located in Floyd Bennett Field.

According to a tweet by Councilman Chaim Deutsch, the NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating the incident.

“Though there is no reason to believe there is any sort of threat, it’s always advisable to supervise children when in public places”, Deutsch wrote.

The Aviator Sports and Events Center is an authorized Concessionaire of the National Park Service and New York’s largest sports and events center.

The Aviator is a popular location for many Jewish youth sports leagues, who use the facilities on Friday, Motzei Shabbos, and Sundays. There is also an ice skating rink that is used by many Jewish families.
