Wednesday Morning Storm Updates from Eretz Yisrael


07:55: As a result of the winter storm, the level of the Kinneret has risen over 16cm (6.2 inches) in the past 24 hours.

08:10: Some lines of Israel Railways still operating on a limited schedule.

08:52: Snow is accumulating in the Hebron and Kiryat Arba areas.

09:35: Since Tuesday, there has been 73mm (2.8 inches) of rainfall in Jerusalem, 75 in Netanya, 78 in the Har Bracha area of Shomron and 46 in Bat Yam.

10:00: A 20-year-old female pedestrian was struck by a bus on Abba Eban Street in Herzliya. Ichud Hatzalah responded. The victim is listed in serious condition.

10:01: Many roads closed in the Golan Heights, Tzfas and Upper Galil areas due to snow accumulations.

10:02: Widespread power outages reported in the Hadera area due to flooding of an Israel Electric Company substation.

10:33: Snowfall reported in Maalot and heavy hail in Misgav.

10:45: Snowfall reported in the French Hill area of Yerushalayim.
