Police are addressing rumors of a dispute between neighbors regarding cellular telephone antennas on the building roof and the possibility that the blast was the result of a bomb. Investigators believe it will take a number of days until they will know with certainty what caused the blast.

The funerals for the five victims began at 18:00 in Akko.
