Passenger With Knife Removed From Delta Flight At Kennedy Airport


deltanA Delta Air Lines plane was ordered back to its gate at John F. Kennedy International Airport before takeoff Thursday night due to a security scare.

Passengers said a flight attendant noticed a passenger with a knife on board the plane, which was bound for Amsterdam, according to a report on CBS This Morning.
Video from the plane showed officers in the aisle.

The passenger was removed from the plane, CBS This Morning reported. It is unclear if the passenger was arrested.

The Transportation Security Administration is not saying how the knife got past security.

  1. It isn’t exactly rocket science how to get a knife on a plane despite security.

    Think about it for a couple minutes, from the perspective that you want a sharp knife on a plane, instead of from the perspective of how to stop people.

  2. Never mind. It was just a peaceful Muslim wanting to carry out the will of Allah by hijacking a plane full of infidels and crashing it into a tower full of infidels.
    What pesky security that won’t allow him to carry out the will of Allah. Where is the First amendment??

    (b) agents were talking
    (c) agents were not looking at screen
    (d) agents did not look at no-fly list
    (e) TSA forgot to tell them knives are not allowed only water bottles in the purses of 87 year old women
    (f) all of the above
