bb

Thousands of protesters took to the Brooklyn Bridge Saturday night. As a result, the bridge was shut down.

Earlier, Thousands crowded Washington Square Park on Saturday to take to the streets to march in protest of police brutality and racial disparities in policing.

Hundreds traveled from other states, and diverse ethnicities stood shoulder-to-shoulder.

“We’re just tired of the injustice in the legal system,” said protester Ahmed Tobar.

Hundreds of NYPD officers stood by as protesters chanted things like, ‘no justice, no peace – no racist police’.

  1. Yea Ahmed Towbar, injustices like taking out criminals who attack police! That aggravates you! If you don’t like this country you can leave, you know! We’ll save a couple of dollars on the food stamps, medical insurance and free school this country gives to you and your kids with my tax money! Iran, Iraq, Oman, Turkey are certainly nicer places and for sure such injustices don’t happen there!

  2. Sharpton and his followers are so powerful to shut down a bridge like this and disrupt people’s daily lives globally that says that they must be really powerful. Regrettably they don’t use this power to teach the public not to do crime!

We should really get that spray used in Israel for the animals there. Bring a truck over here and this will put order in place very fast lol!

  3. Whatever one’s opinion of police vs civilian relations, and if Michael Brown etc, possibly got what’s coming to them,
should agree that any inner city black male with a semblance of ethnic self pride OUGHT to be out blocking the brdges and roads

  4. Any second now the cops are going to get tired of bring attacked by these chayas who are advocating resisting arrest with no consequences. We have a hippy mayor.
