Tel Aviv Terrorist Was Married, a Father, and Had a Work Permit

taIt is becoming increasingly evident that the security and intelligence communities must rethink the situation and their terrorist profile. While in the past it was theorized a person without a terrorist past, older, married and with children, will not risk it all to perpetrate an attack.

This has been disproven over and over again in this ongoing most recent wave of Islamic terror. The terrorist from Dura, near Hebron, who perpetrated the attack in the Panorama Building in Tel Aviv this afternoon, 7 Kislev, was in his 50s, married, the father of five, and had a permit to work in Israel. He worked in a restaurant adjacent to the site of the stabbing attack which claimed two lives.

According to eyewitness reports, he knew exactly what he was doing, going to the fifth floor and the room where mincha is held daily at 2:00 PM. He was familiar with the building and the routine.

He tried getting into the shul but the mispallalim B’chasdei Hashem kept him out after the first victim stumbling into the shul and collapsed. their quick thinking permitting them to close the door. However, the second victim, who was a few minutes late for mincha, was fatally stabbed outside the shul door, having nowhere to run.

It is pointed out some of the victims of the Gush Etzion attack, which occurred 2.5 hours later, http://www.theyeshivaworld.com/news/headlines-breaking-stories/362782/terror-continues-shooting-and-vehicular-attack-in-gush-etzion—3-people-killed-6-people-injured-updated-525pm-il.html were also davening at the junction when the terrorists attacked.
