Relative of Tel Aviv Terrorist: We Warned Police But No One Would Listen


teAccording to a Ynet report, a relative of the Dizengoff shooting attack terrorist who is still at large, Nashat Melhem, the family tried warning police regarding Nashat but authorities would not listen. Ahmed Melhem told authorities that warnings were issued, but they fell on deaf ears.

Ynet adds that police state it is not possible to get accurate concrete information regarding the claims, hence they cannot discuss the “Crux of the matter”.

In a related matter, Jodat, a brother of Nashat, was released by authorities on Wednesday. Other members of the Melhem family remain in custody, including Mohammed, his dad. Jodat told Walla News that he and other family members in custody are not in any way connected to what occurred in the Dizengoff pub. He added none of them has an idea where Nashat is hiding from authorities.

Attorney Nechumi Feinblatt is representing Mohammed and Jodat. She explained their arrests were expected since Nashat remains at large since the attack. She explains they are facing serious accusations.
