The Belzer Rebbe Shlita has announced talmidim of yeshivos ketanos are prohibited from visiting Meron for Lag B’Omer. Chassidim explain this is the first time the rebbe has made such an announcement.

Mashgichim of the yeshivos have informed talmidim, adding their regular daily seder is to continue until Lag B’Omer afternoon. Then the rebbe will hold his Lag B’Omer tisch.

It is explained the reasons behind the rebbe’s decision is to avoid bitul Torah and to distance the bochrim from problematic tznius situations that may arise in Meron.
