Tragedy struck the Lakewood community on Erev Shabbos, as word spread of a Frum woman who was R”L killed in a tragic accident.

The accident happened around 1:35PM in a parking lot on River Avenue.

When police arrived, they found the woman – who is approximately 75-years-old – R”L pinned under her vehicle, which was still in reverse.

Lakewood First Aid rushed her to MMCSC in critical condition, but was Niftar shortly after arriving.

Police investigators are on the scene, and are reviewing security camera footage to determine what exactly happened.

Askonim, the Chevra Kaddish, and Misaskim are working to ensure proper Kavod Hameis.
