UJO Offers $5000 Reward For Information On South 9th Shooting


On August 10, 2010 at approximately 12:20AM a 25 year old male was shot during an attempted robbery while walking in front of 156 South 9th Street and Driggs Avenue in the confines of the 90th Precinct in Brooklyn.

The United Jewish Organizations of Williamsburg will announce at 3:00PM today a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for this crime. The final determination of eligibility and payment of the $5,000 will be made by those offering the reward and not the New York City Police Department.

Among the participants at the announcement will be: Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz, Councilman Steve Levin, Assemblyman Joseph Lentol, State Senator Daniel Squadron.
