US Mideast Envoy Jason Greenblatt is speaking out regarding Iran’s financial commitment to Hamas, and how Teheran funds Hamas’ terrorism to the tune of $100 million annually.

According to the US official, the money given to Hamas is used to continue developing and improving Hamas’ capabilities, including terrorist tunnels and the purchase of weapons and ammunition.

During a recent regional visit, Greenblatt was also touring the Gaza belt area along the Gaza border, including a terror tunnel discovered and detonated by the IDF. It was then, Sunday, when Greenblatt spoke of how Iran funds Hamas to the tune of $100 million annually, citing the widespread corruption must end and this funding must be infused into Gaza to begin addressing the quality of life for residents.

Hamas must also permit the repatriation of Hadar Goldin’s remains and the release of Oron Shaul, as well as the release of Israeli civilians – Avraham Abera Mengistu, Hisham al-Sayed and Juma Ibrahim Abu Ghanima.
