MK Oren Hazan Mildly Injured In Car Crash

On Thursday afternoon, MK Oren Hazan (Likud), was taken to Assaf Harofeh hospital after being lightly injured in a car accident on Highway Six. A Private car hit Hazan’s vehicle from behind causing Hazan pain in his back. He was barely able to exit his own vehicle following the accident. According to eye-witnesses at the scene, Hazan was holding his back in pain as he was exiting the vehicle.

Hazan told Israeli media outlets that: “I am slowly getting better. I am suffering from pains all over my body, but I am thankful that the incident didn’t end in a more serious manner. I was on my way to the commemoration of a friend of mine who was killed in a car accident. We were hit from behind while traveling on Highway Six. My assistant Eli Tzur is also suffering from pains all over,” Hazan said.

Hazan said that he believes the other driver had not been paying attention to the road. “We weren’t stopped. We were driving slowly and suddenly hit from behind. I’d like to take this opportunity to tell all the drivers across the country to forget about whatever else is going on and please pay attention to the road. You are responsible for your own lives and the lives of others around you.”
