Lakewood, NJ – A local resident who’s bike had gone missing earlier Wednesday afternoon, spotted a Hispanic male walking with it on Wednesday evening in the area of East 4th and Ridge. He attempted to follow the suspect, but lost sight of him.
The resident then alerted an LCSW member who in turn alerted additional LCSW members to the area to help look for the suspect with the bike.
A short while later, after combing the area, one of the members spotted the male with the bike a few blocks away.
The owner made a positive ID on the bike, and the LPD arrested the suspect.
