VIDEO & PHOTOS: Numerous Injured as Chareidi Driver Loses Control of Vehicle in Yerushalayim

A serious vehicular accident took place early Thursday afternoon 27 Shevat 5773 when a female chareidi driver apparently lost control of her car at Shmuel HaNavi and Bar Ilan Streets, an extremely busy intersection. Three pedestrians, two youths and a male were injured, apparently seriously according to preliminary information provided by Ichud Hatzalah EMT Moshe Levy, among the first to arrive at the scene.

MDA officials report the injured male as being a senior citizen and the youths are boys 14 and 10. They were all transported to the trauma unit of Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.

Accident scene investigators are interviewing the 35-year-old driver and checking the condition of her vehicle towards determining the cause of the accident.

Israel Radio reports the driver sustained light injuries.
