After three months in jail, Netanel Sandrusi and Maor Gamliel were released. They are suspected in the fatal hit-and-run in the Ramot area of Jerusalem that claimed the life of 11-year-old Binyomin Biegeleisen.
The accident took place on Golda Meir Blvd. on Chol Hamoed Pesach. The young victim was R”L niftar in July, as reported by YWN-Israel.
Sandrusi and Gamliel were arrested, but police are unable to establish which one of them was driving the vehicle and who was the passenger. They were both charged with a ‘hit-and-run’ indictment.
The court ruled there are too many questions in the prosecution’s case, ordering the release of the two. Attorney Gal Silberman, who represents Sandrusi, applauded the decision to release the two.

UnFortunately one is a murderer And the other helped cover it up so I wonder if you would applaud as much if it was your relative
Shenei Shevilin:- For sure both can be charged with at least as much as being an accomplice
if they would have killed an Arab kid they would both be in jail forever!
In medinas Israel an Arab could harm a little Charedi girl and not only go free , but could sue the police. A Charedi boy could be killed in a sickening way, and the police know how to extract information, and go free. A soldier could stop a terrorist from killing others, and he goes to jail. Figure it out. It is the 3 weeks. We are in a dark part of golus . H-ashem yirachem!
I don’t think you can just assume it was murder. Most people don’t run over people on purpose.
It was a tragic accident and perhaps some neglegence, but there is no way to know if there were no witnesses.
um.. lie detector lest??
either way when watching the video of them leaving jail you could totally tell which one is behaving like murderer and which one was murderer’s helper
What would punishing them help? They for sure didn’t do it on purpose. If we had our Bais Hamikdosh, maybe they’d have to take refuge in an Ir Miklat.
