Disgraced NY Governor Andrew Cuomo, candidate for Mayor of New York City, today received the endorsement of the Flatbush Jewish Community Coalition (FJCC). The FJCC joins the Sephardic Community Federation, Far Rockaway Jewish Alliance, the Bobov community in Borough Park, and Crown Jewish United and the Crown Heights PAC, in backing Cuomo’s bid.
“I am truly honored and humbled to receive the endorsement of the Flatbush Jewish Community Coalition, and I want to thank FJCC Chair Josh Mehlman for his partnership,” Governor Cuomo said.
“Our Orthodox community has experienced trauma unlike any other, from surging hate crimes and antisemitism to the unspeakable targeted attacks we saw in Washington, DC and in Denver. With the most crucial election of our lifetimes, we need a proven leader who will not just pay lip service and talk about fighting antisemitism but actually do it. I’ve enjoyed the dialog with the leaders at FJCC and look forward to working with them as Mayor to make life better for Jews and New Yorkers. As Governor, I increased security at synagogues and successfully signed the first in the nation anti-BDS law. As Mayor, I will take action to ensure that Jewish New Yorkers are not victims because of what they believe, how they practice their faith, how they dress or where they live.”

Are they forgetting what he did while he was governor. Aren’t there any Republicans running?
Once again we see the bankruptcy of our “leaders”. This is disgusting. Cuomo actively persecuted the Jewish Community. He is an enemy (to say nothing of his support for eveything that the Torah is against). How can so-called “Jewish Leaders” support him. I no longer care about the arguments that we have no choice but to back whoever appears to be likely to win. He is against us!!! WHEN WILL OUR “LEADERS” SHOW SOME BACKBONE??!!
So the FJCC has no problem with this individual who made homosexual marriage the LEGAL law in this State. The grosser chachumim have no problem with what the Torah calls TOAIVA! I guess they think the Aibishter will look the other way. Wicked people. Wicked Organization. To publicly endorse this mushchus lowlife piece of dog manure is beyond the pale.
There is no real choice Cuomo’s damage during Covid is unforgivable and certainly unforgettable. But now we’re at a crossroad! Do we rush across the bust highway and hope we don’t get hit or do we gently stroll across and whatever happens, happens! Certainly the former is the appropriate choice Cuomo does not deserve our support but to vote for the virulent anti semite is like voting for the Ayatola.
This is a primary endorsement.
In the primary you try to eliminate the biggest threats to the community. In the general election, you can try to pick the right candidate. (Also, if you want choices of good politicians who are likely to win, NYC is not the place to be).
Let’s just hope that Cuomo learned from his experiences over the last few years who cannot be trusted (such as the radical wing of the Democrat party who virtually lynched him)
