White House: Trump Considering Israel Stop After UK Visit, Pending Gaza Talks

President Donald Trump is weighing a visit to Israel next month, contingent on the outcome of ongoing negotiations with Hamas over a ceasefire and the release of hostages, according to a report by Ynet citing American and Israeli officials.

A U.S. official told Ynet that while Trump is scheduled to travel to the United Kingdom September 1719 at the invitation of King Charles III, a stop in Israel is possible but not certain and not finalized.

The official said the likelihood of the trip depends on developments in the talks on a ceasefire and an end to the war in Gaza. Trump would like to come to Israel if the negotiations succeed.

An Israeli official confirmed that there are feelers about a possible visit by Trump, but stressed that nothing concrete has been arranged and that plans remain up in the air.

Mediators have been working in recent days to revive prospects for a ceasefire after the most recent round of talks ended in an impasse. Prime Minister Netanyahus government recently approved a plan to seize Gaza City in October, leaving a two-month window for potential breakthroughs in negotiations.

Netanyahu reiterated this week that Israel will not accept any partial agreements, insisting on a comprehensive deal that secures the release of all hostages and ends the war under Israels terms.
