An Israeli government spokesperson clarified that Marwan Barghouti, one of the most well-known Palestinian terrorists, will not be among those released under the reported agreement between Israel and Hamas for a hostage-prisoner exchange.
“I can tell you at this point in time that he will not be part of this release,” spokesperson Shosh Bedrosian told reporters.
Barghouti, a senior Fatah figure, is currently serving five life sentences for his involvement in orchestrating terror attacks that claimed the lives of five Israelis during the Second Intifada.

It should not be just this one murderer who should not be set free. Instead once the hostages are all released Israel shall take back into custody every released prisoner with blood on their hands as they have life sentences to serve and an agreement to abide by the demands of kidnappers and extortionists is not binding and is void under the law.
If al Quida took Americans hostage demanding the release of their terrorists from US prisons there is zero doubt that the US would take them back into custody as soon as the Americans were released if the terrorists were so stupid as to remain on US soil.
Taking these terrorists back into custody to serve their sentences will not only keep the public safe, it will show Hamas once and for all that taking hostages is no longer a way to free their people from prison.
