HY’D: Sgt. Liran Ben-Tzion, H’yd, 19, from Holon, was killed in Lebanon. He served in the 9th Battalion of the 401st Armored Brigade.
He is the sixth soldier to be killed in Lebanon in the past month. Over 30 soldiers have been wounded, including five soldiers wounded on Sunday.
The IDF said that according to an investigation into the incident, Hezbollah fired an anti-tank missile which hit an IDF tank, killing Ben-Tzion and seriously wounding the officer.

I offer my sincere condolences to the Family and Friends of Sgt. Liran Ben-Tzion, H’yd and to those also mourning the losses of other IDF Soldiers who recently lost there lives in the war because of Iran. I don’t know quite what to say, these losses are so tragic and all-encompassing and all consuming. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I continually read on Yeshiva World News.com about the demise or misfortune of Israeli Civilians and IDF Soldiers and it always tugs at my heartstrings. I am at a loss except to say that G-D will avenge these circumstances.
