Dan Goldman Visits Boro Park

BORO PARK, NY – In a heartwarming display of community connection, Congressman Dan Goldman spent an afternoon touring Boro Park alongside Assemblymember Simcha Eichenstein, strengthening his deep bonds with the neighborhood. The exciting visit featured a stop at the Boro Park Jewish Community Council (BPJCC) for a warm meeting with CEO Avi Greenstein, as well as warm conversations with prominent community activist Yonason Schwartz and influencer Chaim Perlowitz. Local residents turned out in droves, packing Sesame Bakery and lined up to warmly greet the Congressman, shake hands, and eagerly accept campaign palm cards. While stopping at Eichler’s, Goldman was deeply touched to receive a beautiful English translated Siddur with his name elegantly engraved on the cover.

A central highlight of the tour was a firsthand look at the incredible chesed and safety networks that anchor the community. Goldman visited the Boro Park Shomrim command center to observe their tireless watch, declaring that neighborhood safety is his top priority, noting, “This is what I passionately do.” He then spent meaningful time with the leadership board of Chevra Hatzalah, where he toured an ambulance and watched dedicated dispatch coordinators expertly route emergency calls. Deeply moved by the seamless operation, Goldman praised the organization’s devotion, beautifully reflecting on the eternal Jewish principle of areivim zeh lazeh – that we are all interconnected and responsible for one another. The Congressman pledged his continued federal advocacy and unwavering support to ensure both Shomrim and Hatzalah have everything they need to keep the community safe and thriving.
