Iran Reportedly Delays Planned Strike on Israel as Trump Pushes for Last-Minute Framework Agreement

Iran is reportedly considering postponing a planned missile strike on Israel to give President Trump’s diplomatic efforts a chance and potentially reach a framework agreement tonight, Ynet reports. One proposal under discussion would reportedly include the immediate removal of the naval blockade on Iran and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, rather than a phased easing of restrictions.

According to the report, Iran had planned to carry out a missile strike earlier in the evening, potentially timed during major television broadcasts, but delayed it several times after receiving direct messages from Trump.
