At around 2:15AM on Friday morning, Volunteers from the Rockaway Nassau Safety Patrol (Shomrim) observed a male breaking into several vehicles in Inwood.
An RNSP dispatcher immediately activated the Nassau County 911 system.
NCPD 4th Precinct officers responded swiftly and arrested the male.
Upon arresting the suspect, responding officers recovered weapons from the suspect.
