Zimbabwe Denies Uranium Deal with Iran

Following reports in the international media that Iran and Zimbabwe signed a deal by which the former receives uranium in exchange for oil for the latter, government officials in Zimbabwe on Monday denied such a deal was made.

President Robert Mugabe announced that during Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad�s visit to his country last week that he feels the western nations are try to punish them for exerting their independence and for Zimbabwe expressing its support for Iran�s nuclear program.

According to foreign media reports, during Ahmadinejad�s visit to Zimbabwe last week, the deal by which Tehran received uranium rights was signed.

    Once they admit to that, its hard to believe them when they deny supplying uranium
