Zimbabwe Denies Uranium Deal with Iran


Following reports in the international media that Iran and Zimbabwe signed a deal by which the former receives uranium in exchange for oil for the latter, government officials in Zimbabwe on Monday denied such a deal was made.

President Robert Mugabe announced that during Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s visit to his country last week that he feels the western nations are try to punish them for exerting their independence and for Zimbabwe expressing its support for Iran’s nuclear program.

According to foreign media reports, during Ahmadinejad’s visit to Zimbabwe last week, the deal by which Tehran received uranium rights was signed.

    Once they admit to that, its hard to believe them when they deny supplying uranium
