Yishai Allocates NIS 400,000 To Rebuild Tuba el-Zangaria Mosque

Minister of the Interior (Shas) Eli Yishai has allocated NIS 400,000 ($108,000) towards renovating the mosque targeted in Tuba el-Zangaria together with the community’s council building, with the latter set ablaze by youths living in the community in protest against the mosque attack.

At present, there are approximately 20 suspects in custody following the attacks against a number of public buildings in the community.

Police announced early Thursday afternoon, 8 Tishrei, that a Jewish male has been arrested as the primary suspect in the arson attack.

  1. He would be expected to do so even if the fire was a pure accident, such as a lightning strike. Under Israeli policy (which is very European), houses of worship are supposed to be “official” and government supported (and to a certain extent “controlled” and “regulated”). His office would pick up the bill. Not do so would probably be illegal.

  2. But of course he would never consider rebuilding Kever Yosef Hatzaddik, which those animals burned. Not only will they not rebuild it, those arab animals won’t let us rebuild it either. But we have to pay good Jewish money to rebuild their mosque??? It defies the imagination!

  3. Kever Yosef is not in territory that Israel claims to own.
And whether you can call Israeli government money “Jewish” is questionable: at least a quarter of the population are goyim, and probably a lot more, and about half the rest while having some Jewish ancestors don’t really consider themselves to be Jews. It’s Israeli money, or Zionist money, but not Jewish money.
