The High Court of Justice on Wednesday is expected to rule on the petition filed against Defense Minister Ehud Barak by 63 talmidim, soldiers and former talmidim of Rabbi Eliezer Melamed and the Har Bracha Hesder Yeshiva.

The petitioners told the court that the defense minister’s decision to oust the hesder yeshiva from the hesder network represented collective punishment against them and therefore, the court should reverse the decision.

Heading the judicial panel will be the court’s president, Justice Dorit Beinish.
