    Anybody have any information on if the Ruach Ami series is continuing. The last book was 4 years ago??

    @LeebaW – Question for you. Based on a superficial read of your post it would seem that the reason you went OTD was related to your mother being too strict with you, as you state “Because honestly if she hadn’t made a big deal about every little thing I may not have made choice to cut ties with religiosity completely”.

    Is this a punishment for her not treating you right, or did her treatment of you drive a greater search for a way out, that you may not have embarked on if she had been less strict??

    I use pageplus cellular $55 a month unlimited talk and text and 2gb data. They use verizons network.

    It should really be called “Ahavas Yisrael”. However because unfortunately most of us don’t feel this internal automatic love for another member of the tribe, but we have to have a reason, the term “Ahavas Chinam” is used.

    Meaning love them just because we are all part of one big family and don’t look for other reasons(i.e. same kind of head covering, type of shul etc…)

    Josh31 – The point is that they didn’t know. Nor did the non-religious founders of the state know. Had they known and done it on purpose then it would not be meaningful.

    The only reason it is meaningful is because this is how it worked out, without it being planned to coincide
