This is explicitly mentioned in the Torah at the beginning of Parshas mattois as noted by Toi. It is important to note however that a Husband/Father can only nullify oaths uttered by his wife if the oath is something which directly impacts himself ie ???? ????? or if it is an oath which is classified as ???? ????? ???. Anything else does not fall under the remit of a husband’s anullment, but requires the Bittul of a ??? or a Beis Din
Haven’t heard this from anywhere, but maybe we are thanking Hashem for making us into men despite women being on a higher spiritual level. A bit like making a brocha Dayan Hoemes. (doesn’t work for the other sheloi osanis though!)

Regarding upsherin Rabbi Bimyomin Shlomo Hamburger has an extensive piece about it in one of his seforim on Minhagei Ashkenaz – I dont remember which volume offhand.
And since we are talking about strange (!) minhagim how about not saying Ledovid Hashem Ori at all; not saying Mizmor Shir Chanukas Habayis; sitting down for Mizmor lesoidah (I think the Be’er Heirev mentions this one); sitting for Hallel Hagadol on Shabbos and Yomtov.

Inspiredteen has got it right regarding sleeves, skirt length and necklines. However tznius is a way of life more than just dos and donts. The best sefer is probably without doubt Rabbi Falk shlita’s Oz Vehadar Levusha, which besides the halachos discusses many of the haskafic ideas behind tznius in dress and all areas of life.
I personally know a mahgiach who has supervised LIMITED productions of Baileys Irish Cream which are still made with Cholov Akum (as it is referred to in the Poskim) otherwise it is TREIF gomur
Rabeinu Yonah in Shaarei Teshuva quotes the gemara that says that with regards to mitzvas tzitzis, if one does not fulfil it then “???? ???? ????? ???? ?? ??? ??? ?? ??? ????? ? ? ? ?
????? ????? ?????? ??? ??? ??? ????? ????.” which means that HKBH reserves the punishment for a time of troubles for the Yidden RL because this person who does not wear tzitzis doesn’t appreciate and desire to keep this mitzva.
