Camp Heller which is the senior camp of Mogen AV, it is extremely focused on sports. They hire real refs etc. If he’s not a total lover of sports then Heller is not for him.

I just finished listening to the teleconference. Very informative, and insightful. I hope they recorded it, I know a lot of people who should listen to it, and heed the two Rabbi’s advice.

doodle jump: agreed, it’s just that it really gets on my nerves, when people are so quick to jump to conclusions, but, you are right.

    2. Also it’s definately not right, to blame it on the kids, for their Yeshiva’s actions. And those who slam the doors on the kids because of their limo parked in front, probably would not have given too much anyhow.

Jewishness, It is foolish people like you, that are my pet peeve. As someone who has been arranging limo services for a certain Yeshiva, for a couple years now. I can tell you, that most limo company’s charge about the same, if not less for their service. This past Purim we received a quote from a car-service company for $65. an hour for old minivans. We ended up using a limo service for $35 an hour. We had six limos’s for 2 hours each by night (total: 12 hours) and 9 limos’s by day for 4 hours each (total: 36 hours). So that’s a total of 48 hours, with a savings of $30. savings per car, per hour. That was a final savings of an astounding $1,440 dollars to this choshuve mosad. Yes, limos seem fancier, but in most cases, their definitely less expensive.

As a seller on eBay for over three years, I think my expertise can help you. The reason why the shipping prices may vary, is because, eBay charges sellers a percentage of the amount their item sold for, but, they do not charge a percentage of the shipping charge (some sellers make a high shipping charge, and low auction price, in order to not have to pay such high fees). Sometimes sellers will entice their buyers, by offering little, to no charge for shipping.

Elyaber: not a problem, glad to be able to help you out. Thinking back on my years as a camper in Camp Agudah, I guess I too was not much of a sports guy. The Ruach, cheering & friends, is what allowed me to love CA, but it’s definitely not for everyone. I hope your son does well in R’ Eli’s camp. R’ Eli is a really Geshmake, and just plain awesome guy. I’m sure his camp is great too, and experiencing Eretz Yisroel, sounds amazing.

Camp Agudah/Ruach Country, in my opinion is the best camp in the mountains, & I’ve been to almost all the camps, beleive me!

LOL! Now it’s Ruach Chaim VS. Ruach Country!

BTW Dogo & Cutie Pie: Do you know if there will be anything taking place on the camp grounds first half? A local Yeshiva may want to rent it out. It would be a waste, to leave the grounds empty 1st half.

Camp Agudah I must say is with the times, it’s got a young, vibrant head staff, Mozzy Kaplan, Abie Neiman, & Avi Schilit, nothing compares! & I must say Camp Agudah also has the best learning director out there Rabbi Feur (son of R’ Avrohom Chaim Feur). He literally has a kesher with every camper, it’s amazing.

Ironically to me it seem just the opposite. I think they are looking to cater to the Lakewood crowd. I think that is why they are charging day camp rates. They also are forsure not catering to the camp Bei Kyta crowd, as the camp closed down due to lack of campers.

The reunion took place last night at Sasson V’Simcha hall. Michoel Pruzansky was the guest star, along with the famous composer, Rabbi Yitzi Bald! There was a full-fledged fleishege menu. The Aryeh Gelbard blockbuster video was shown, and a great time was had by all.

You can view the video on the Camp Agudah unofficial website, in the photos and video section. It will keep your kids busy for hours!

Please don’t get me wrong, I am not trying to criticize the Yeshivos. I just wan’t to know, what your feelings are on this matter. I also would like to say, that certain Yeshivos where it works out kol Hacavod, but in places where it does not work out (war verse the Menahel) I would venture to say, it’s not worth it(my own humble opinion).

I heard the one opening on the corner of 59 and 306, is going to be like a Kolel Supermarket with crazy low prices (at least in the beginning). Lately I’ve seen a lot of construction going on there. I hope this does not affect any of the other stores, especially Motty’s which is small, and right nearby.
