Extremely interesting articles. Cover to cover reading. Not every article is for everyone. They go in depth on articles you may have seen or glimpsed before.

“Bottom line is men fall in love with their eyes first and woman with their brain. Its a fact that isn’t going to change any time soon.”
Please don’t put all men in the same category. Some may look at looks at first but, it’s just at first. After initial looking it goes deeper for most people. Others looks is not even close to everything. Like it has been said many times before on this thread, potentials need to look pleasant to each other and beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

After I saw the picture I was willing to meet. 🙂
When I get a proposal I used to look at the picture first and go from there. Now i look at the whole ‘picture’ first and if it’s still noigeah then I will take a peek. 5’9 and overweight, I wouldn’t have b’chlal listened to if I wouldn’t have seen the picture first.
Too true no denying that. (sorry for the delay in answering)

If I would have gotten a dollar for every time a shadchan told that the girl was beautiful, gorgeous and pretty I’d be a very rich man. When I first started dating about 7 years ago I didn’t ask for a picture beshita, but when shadchanim would tell me that the girl is absolutely gorgeous, I’m telling you…., and I personally verified that it was not so(at least to me) pictures started getting more of a necessity. To avoid hurting anyone’s feelings. Yes I do send a pic to whomever asks.
