stop blaming zionism for making Jews become not frum. In North Africa many Jews went to France instead of Israel are they more religious than the ones who went to Israel? After the 1979 revolution the majority of Iranian Jews went to America do you really think that they are more religious than the ones who went to Israel?
90% of Jews became non religious between 1800-1930 and it had nothing to do with zionism and everything to do with the freedom they got in the countries they were living in. Why cant you accept reality and stop blaming zionism for every problem in the last 100 years
but the ramban holds its a mitzvah deoraitta and since it is possible to currently move to israel why would mashiach coming or not have anything to do with fulfilling this mitzvah?
And I would like to find a source that any Rabbi in the last fifty years has said that we should not move to Israel because it is too dangerous. I have never heard that said by anyone so please prove it.
why do you guys keep getting off topic this post has nothing to do with zionism. zionism cannot take away the fact that According to the Ramban and the Rambam there is a mitzvat deoraitta to live in Israel. So why do we not encourage more people to move to Israel when they are young before they have kid issues. Why has this mitzvah fallen to the wayside in the yeshivish and chassidish communities.
oh come on you know thats not true otherwise all of the rabbanim in israel would encourage people to leave. Israelis have a higher life expectancy than Americans so on average you would actually live longer in Israel than America.
The real question is why are people waiting until their kids are teenagers to make aliyah. Why do we not encourage newlywed couples to move so we do not have this issue.

Most people will not go down in ruchniyut if they live in Israel if they move to the right neighborhoods so back to the original question why are more religious Jews not moving to Israel???

You made it sound like prenups are a made up idea by conservatives not actually a valid document according to sephardim. I hope you use your words more carefully from now on if you dont actually believe what you yourself wrote.
Rabbi Gedalia Dov Shwartz and Rav Zalman Nechemia Goldberg are two different people the former lives in chicago and can be argued is MO but the latter is a well respected dayan in Israel and I dont believe is MO.
I actually am sephardi but nevertheless my point is how can you call those who believe in prenup to be conservative. Did all ur big ashkenazi and chassidic rabbanim consider rav ovadia to be conservative because he believed in prenups or heter mechira? they realized that there is a machloket in the matter and accepted Rav Ovadia’s right to have his own opinion so why cant you accept the right for other big rabbanim to have their own opinion too.
The second beit hamikdash was destroyed because everyone held that only their opinion was correct. I hope you change your approach to these different halachik and hashkafic issues and realize that legitimate poskim disagree with you BUT THAT IS OKAY!!!!
Do you realize that Rav Ovadia Yosef and Rav Zalman Nechemia Goldberg both approve of the prenup. They are not small Rabbanim or MO. Just accept the fact that there is a machloket and please stop pretending like your opinion is the only valid one.

I dont understand why Rav Aviner says no Gedolim support it when Rav Ovadia Yosef, Rav Zalman Nechemia Goldberg and Rav Osher Weiss all gave haskamot. Also why is this more of a get meusa than when the rabbanut jails the husband.
I believe Rav Kook was Rav Elyashivs Mesader Kiddushin. Cant get more chashuv than that 🙂
