Just got back from Shul (B”H it’s only 5 houses away) had to empty the snow out of my pants. Some parts have 4 inches while others have 5 feet for example in front of the shul there was a five foot mountain but B”H I didn’t have to climb it. As I write it is still snowing heavily and we are expecting another 6 inches. I was listening to the radio last night and heard that there are tons of people trapped on Lake Shore Drive for 5+ hours. By the way the streets all have about 1 foot of snow in them and are nearly impossible to drive on. Last night I was looking out my window and a Mexican fellow got stuck smack in the middle of the street so I ran out with a shovel an shoveled out a parking space for him.

Sure as of 8:32PM (Chicago time) there is light snow but winds at about 50 MPH causing you to practically be blinded and it hurts to walk into the wind. More coming…

I’m in Chicago and the wind is ridiculously strong with snow. The main streets are not plowed which is a change for Chicago.

ikwdfellow- We had a toaster and microwave so there was no need for the iron. Did you guys ever use the dryer for that type of stuff?
