People are so superficial – there’s no point whatsoever in doing these stupid excersizes in finding cute drushy references to current events. Stick to things that are true and muchrach.
It’s pashut disgusting not to take care of body odor. Yet many people don’t. It’s truly appaling. Once, i was standing next to a chashuv rabbi and boy did he smell. Personally, I think it was a big chillul HASHEM.

YU because at least if you go to secular college you won’t come to [falsely] believe that you are getting real, true, and valid unadulterated ruchniyus,; however,if you go to an institution like YU, you will think that you have as good in ruchniyus and as valid a derech in Torah which isn’t true. (Rav Moshe ZT”L once said that one of his maalas was that his daas Torah was never corrupted in the slightest by even a shemetz of secular knowledge.)
Eating in the succah for shabbos bereishis is the crummest chumra in the world. There is no basis whatsoever in halacha or minhagim to do so. Once were eating in the succah, we might as well blow shofar through chanukah, since there is an unyan of teshuva extending until chanukah brought down in the zohar.
Is it just me or does every religious custom somehow just end up as an excuse to get drunk?
