YWN regrets to inform you of the Petira of Rav Elimelech Kohn Z”L, a Magid Shiur in Riverdale Yeshiva. He was 60-years-old.

Rav Elimelech was a Marbitz Torah for more than 25 years, and has hundreds of Talmidim.

He was a Telzer talmid, having learned in Telz Cleveland and Telz Chicago.

He leaves behind a wife, and children R’ Shloime, a son Eli (who is a Chosson), a son Avi (Passaic), and a daughter Mrs. Esti Wertheimer of Monsey, NY.

The Levaya will be held at Riverdale Yeshiva at 1:00PM [640 249th St], and at El Al Cargo JFK at 3:45PM.
