Human Remains Discovered In Ulster County Identified


nysp2The New York State Police at Kingston, in conjunction with the Town of Ulster Police ,Ulster County Sheriff’s Office and the City of Kingston Police are currently investigating the discovery of human remains near the Esopus Creek in the Town of Ulster.

The Troop F Forensic Investigation Unit, BCI Investigators, SCUBA and K9 teams responded to the area and are conducting further searches on the ground as well as conducting interviews of area residents.

It was determined on Friday that the human remains discovered on Wednesday have been identified as Donald L Gulick, 60 years old of Kingston, New York. Mr. Gulick was reported missing to the Ulster County Sheriffs Office recently by family and friends. The results of a post mortem examination conducted by the Medical Examiner’s Office indicates that Mr. Gulick died of natural causes.
