Monroe: New York State Police Seek Witnesses in Bicycle Accident


ambThe New York State Police at Monroe is asking the public for assistance with a serious personal injury accident investigation involving a bicyclist. On Wednesday July 9th, 2014, Gary Krimsky of Monroe, NY was riding his bicycle on Orange Turnpike in the Town of Monroe just South of Arrow Park when he abruptly fell. During the fall, Mr. Krimsky struck his head on the pavement and was subsequently airlifted to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY where he is listed in critical condition. Mr. Krimsky was riding his bicycle in a southerly direction on Orange Turnpike at the time of the accident and would have been seen between 8:45am and the time of the reported incident at 9:15am. Any witnesses to the accident are asked to contact the New York State Police Monroe barracks Bureau of Criminal Investigation at 845-782-8311.
