Most people in the Tannersville area are still without power, following the horrific floods which swept through the town, located in Greene County, just near Hunter Mountain.

Boruch Hashem, no life was lost in the floods, which can be seen in the video posted below.

For all those still in the area, who are seeking a route to the NYC region, please use the following information:

Open Roads from Tannersville to Brooklyn as of 2PM Aug 29:
1. 23A to Hunter
2. Right on Scribner Hollow Rd
3. Left on 23C
4. Right on 296
5. Right on 23E to the NYS Thruway 87 South
6. As of now 87S is clear till Exit 17, from there take alt routes Call Kol Mevaser 212-444-1100 option 7 for details.
