cemetery11.jpgFor the 5th time in less than a year, the Jewish cemetery in Gdansk, Poland has been vandalized. Also a sign at the cemetery, bearing the Star of David and requesting respect for the deceased, was destroyed. In 1939, around 3.3 million Jews lived in Poland, 400,000 of them in Warsaw. They constituted 10% of Poland’s pre-war population and 33% of Warsaw’s population.
