5:10PM EST: Rescue services are on the scene of an overturned bus on the Garden State Parkway [south-bound] near MM 87.3 – near Exit 91. There are reports of people trapped, and at least one medevac – possibly two – has been requested, for patients with serious injuries. The highway is reported to be shut down, so if you are traveling to Lakewood, please use alternate routes (Route 9 etc).

Lakewood Hatzolah has not been requested to respond at this time. Further info will be posted  as it becomes available.

UPDATE 5:18PM EST: Now receiving word that there is a car overturned, and a bus involved (not overturned)
