The Asbury Park Press is reporting that Lakewood’s school board could vote as soon as tomorrow in�an emergency meeting to lay off 32 school employees, including six teachers, a dozen secretaries, and other employees. The firings represent the latest, and most significant, set of cuts since the district realized in November it has a budget shortfall of more than $1 million.
FYI: There are quite a few Frum woman who are employed by the Lakewood’s Board of Education.
