Ivanka Trump And Chelsea Clinton Defend Malia Obama

Two first daughters are condemning recent tabloid coverage of President Barack Obama’s eldest daughter Malia.

There is video circulating of what appears to be the 19-year-old blowing smoke rings in a bathroom.

Ivanka Trump says the college student deserves privacy and ought to be “OFF limits.”

The president’s daughter tweets: “Malia Obama should be allowed the same privacy as her school aged peers. She is a young adult and private citizen, and should be OFF limits.”

Bill and Hillary Clinton’s daughter Chelsea also tweeted in Malia’s defence.

The former first daughter is a first-year student at Harvard University. Malia Obama took a gap year after graduating high school in 2016, in what the Obamas said was an effort to start college without the distraction of her father in the White House.

The informal society of presidential children has historically been protective of its youngest members, without regard for political party.

  1. Part of being the former president daughter is being on a higher standards then the rest of society and because of that her life is taken in much scrutiny like every one who’s on a hire level… Like me the frum yid, or else drop the benefits you get for being the former president daughter.

  2. To Trevs:
Either you haven’t been fortunate to have children or if you did, you obviously had no clue about what it means to let them independently pursue their own identity as adults. She is NOT on a “hire” level, she is on her own level as a separate person from her parents who wants nothing more then to be left alone just as the children of prior presidents. She was locked up for 8 years in the protective walls of the WH and not really allowed to have the freedom that any young adult aspires to. She has no obligation to you or anyone else to be anything other than herself.

  3. When Bush’s daughter got into trouble for underage drinking along with some other college students the media made a major deal about it.
