Flatbush: NYPD Searching For Suspect Connected To Rash Of Burglaries


The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached photograph in connection to a series of burglaries in the Midwood (Flatbush) area – within the confines of the 70 Precinct.

Incident #1: On Friday July 27, 2018, at approximately 12:00PM, the suspect gained entry into a residence in the vicinity of Avenue O and East 19 Street by forcing open a window in the rear of the home. Once inside, the individual removed a 48-year-old male victim’s jewelry and approximately $5,000 in cash.

Incident #2: On Wednesday August 8, 2018, at approximately 10:40AM, the suspect forced open the front door to an apartment in the vicinity of Ocean Avenue and Avenue O. Once inside, the suspect removed a 34-year-old victim’s jewelry.

Incident #3: On Friday August 17, 2018, at approximately 11:00PM, the suspect gained entry into a building’s workout room – in the vicinity of Ocean Avenue and Avenue O – and removed a 26-year-old male victim’s laptop.

Police tell YWN that the suspect is a male, Hispanic, last seen wearing a red baseball cap, a gray hooded sweater, black sweatpants, black sneakers and he had on a black backpack.
